Job Summary:
Position consists of receiving direct material shipments for hose production and moving this material to proper Point of Use (POU) locations. When shipping documents are not accurate, person will conduct root cause analysis to reconcile inventory and systems. This position works with the facility Direct Materials Logistics Planning Analyst and Suppliers to maintain accurate inventory records. Coordinates inbound and outbound material activities on the shop floor to ensure that internal and external customers are provided with on-time delivery. Maintains a high level of communication between the external customers and leadership. Requires strong organizational, customer service and communication skills.
Job Duties:
- Works with suppliers on required documents (ASN's, packing lists, etc.)
- Monitors and manages customer demand
- Maintains all required shipping metrics on facility performance
- Fields all calls regarding customer shipping grief and customer order status
- Communicates customer issues to the appropriate contact and follows up to ensure acceptable resolution has been reached
- Communicate with Logistics team members, any customer expectation requests and special orders
- Updates and creates customer information in SAP/Mach 1 system
- Must have a working knowledge of Mach 1 / SAP / MRC connect
- Order raw materials from suppliers (internal-external)
- Create Purchase Requisitions for non-standard orders of raw materials.
- Create customer orders in MACH1 when not EDI compliant
- Facility MRC Coordinator
- Maintain the GTR tool (shipping inbound, shipping outbound, IRA, sales vs past due)
- Maintain ship history non-MACH1 facilities
- Maintain WIP data
- Create shop production schedule
- Manage schedule grief between Systems (legacy-MRC)
- Maintain facility bias files
- Maintain raw material consumption files (wire-rubber only)
- Responsible for ordering indirect packaging materials
Background / Desired Experience:
- Computer Skills - Prior use of software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Photo editing and/or other graphic design.
- Leadership - Trustworthy, acts with integrity, and demonstrates ability to maintain focus of a group staying on task.
- Teamwork - Demonstrate the ability to be a team player and to take initiative to develop a spirit of teamwork with subject matter experts and other disciplines.
- Reliability - Can be counted on to work when needed to interface with team members on all shifts.

Starting pay for this position is $22.60/hour.
Relocation is not offered for this position.
Summary Pay Range:
$22.60 - $28.20Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
